The Ancient Romans----- You Name It; It's Here!

Look through Mr. Donn's page on ancient Rome and you will find information on everything from what they ate for breakfast to what they did for fun. Be sure to check out the games
that follow the written information on each page. My favorite is "Bath Bubbles at the Roman Baths", which you'll find under the topic "The Baths" on Mr. Donn's list of Roman topics!

For today's assignment, select a topic that interests you. Open and explore all the links that go with it. Write about what you have learned in the comments section for this posting, and read other comments to see what your classmates have found.

Here is Mr. Donn's page on Rome: http://www.rome.mrdonn.org/ Enjoy!

Also you may want to check out a variety of links related to Hinduism at Mr. Donn's site.

Introduction to Early Humans

This site will let you take a virtual tour of the new Hall of Human Origins at the Smithsonian. It is a really good introduction to our first unit in ancient history on early humans. Open and explore as many links as you can from this page, and be sure to open "Visit the Exhibit" to see and learn about the new Hall of Human Origins at the museum.
